The outer rings are crafted from GiroDisc’s proprietary high-carbon cast iron, known for its strength, thermal stability, and resistance to distortion under repeated high-heat cycles. The inner hats are CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aerospace-grade aluminum and anodized for long-term corrosion resistance. This combination allows GiroDisc rotors to significantly reduce unsprung and rotational mass compared to OEM units—improving suspension responsiveness, acceleration, and overall handling.
The floating mount design uses cadmium-plated steel drive pins and spring washers to allow the rotors to expand and contract freely under extreme heat, which minimizes stress, warping, and cracking. When your rotor rings are worn, there’s no need to purchase an entirely new rotor assembly. Shipment by Ground Courier can take up to 6 business days for delivery or Express Courier which can take up to 3 business days for delivery. Shipping time frames are once the order has been processed. Due to high demand, order processing can take 1 to 2 business days.
